AIC Members Win Local Awards from ASA Metro Washington Chapter

Alexandria, VA, March 4, 2014 - The American Institute of Constructors is proud to share that two of it's members have won awards from the American Subcontractors Association's Metro Washington Chapter at the organization's recent 50th Anniversary Subby Awards Gala.

TMG Construction Corporation lead by AIC College of Fellows Chair and Past National President Tanya Matthews, FAIC was awarded the "Nationals Capitol Award" for Outstanding General Contractor. The Award is described by the chapter as being given to the outstanding general contractor in the category up to $50 million who has aided the subcontracting industry by outstanding administration, efficient field supervision and fair financial practices on a continuing basis.

In addition, AIC Member and Certified Professional Constructor Ken Matuszewski of TMG Construction was awarded the ASA’s Award - Outstanding Job Supervision. This award is given to the outstanding G.C. field superintendent who deserves acclamation for effective coordination of all trades; whose method of operation is one of cooperation on the project, not confrontational; and who listens to the subcontractor’s point of view when making a decision.
