The American Institute of Constructors is now accepting nominations to fill 4 seats on the National Board of Directors. Each Director will begin a 4 year term at the AIC Annual Forum April 18-20 in Tampa, FL. To be eligible to nominate or be nominated you must be from one of the voting membership classes (Constructor, Associate, Fellow). Each nomination must be signed by a second AIC Member in good standing.

One of the major goals of the Constructor Certification Commission is to increase the visibility and credibility of constructor certification within the industry which we serve. This can be achieved in many ways through many stakeholders – one being those companies that promote (and even require) their qualified employees to become certified by the Commission. To help achieve this goal the Commission has developed a national awards program to recognize those construction companies who are supporting certification at a high level. Dear Mr. Ethics,
We just had a project RFP accepted. The RFP requires us to submit pre-design work; a proposed project budget; proposed scope construction services; proposed agreement changes as well as other items. Our lead designer has instructed us to destroy all the paperwork that has preceded the RFP. Whenever someone asks me to destroy documents I feel as though I am doing something unethical. I would appreciate your opinion on destroying documents.
