Membership Services/Marketing, Chairs - Bradley T. Monson, CPC & Jim Nissen, CPC
The AIC Membership Committee meets monthly by teleconference and several times in person during AIC Events. The Committee focuses on developing programs that are of value to AIC Members, programs and plans to grow membership, and how to better support AIC Membership.
Programs and Education, Chair - Brian Holley, CPC
One of the most important aspects of the AIC mission is education. This primary focal point requires dedicated volunteers that can help us provide the educational content that enlightens and engages the construction industry. The Programs and Education Committee is a critical part of the AIC as it develops and evaluates the education offerings of the AIC. This committee is responsible for the education and programs through the AIC Annual Forum, Mid-Year Meeting, AIC University, and AIC Webinars. The Committee meets regularly by phone and during AIC Events.
Publications, Chair - Jason Lucas
The Publications Committee helps share the information that is important to the individuals constructor whether through the AIC Newsletter or Journal. The Publications Committee is fast growing. The Committee is responsible for the monthly AIC Constructor Newsletter and the Journal. With the growth of digital publishing the Publication Committee finds itself reinventing the way AIC can publish and disseminate professional publications to it's members and the public.
Inter-Industry Relations, Chair - Jim Nissen, CPC
The AIC mission requires the Institute to work together with other like-minded sister organizations to help raise the level of professionalism, education, ethics and influence within our industry. The I-I Committee is essential in maintaining AIC's contacts with fellow industry associations and corporations. This Committee is perfect for individuals with an interest in AIC's interaction within the industry, developing sponsorship and fundraising, and those with high-profile contacts.
Professional Standards, Chair - Terry Foster, FAIC, CPC
AIC was founded to uphold and maintain the highest possible professional standards. This committee is essential as it develops and maintains the standards that all AIC Members must meet.
AIC Ethics Commission, Chair - Matt Conrad, AIC, CPC
The AIC Code of Ethics is the centerpiece of the Institute's mission and goals. Since the promotion of ethical conduct and professionalism among Constructors is essential to the standing of the overall profession, we welcome volunteer professionals who share this same belief. The Ethics Commission also produces: A Program on Construction Ethics, A teaching tool for ethics programs.
