Alexandria, VA – April 21, 2015 – The American Institute of Constructors announced today the election of Joseph Rietman, CPC as its National President.
Mr. Rietman, currently with Westfield Development in San Diego, CA, previously served as the AIC’s Vice-President, as well as on the AIC’s Constructor Certification Commission’s Board of Governors. His term as National President began April 2015 and will run through April 2016, concluding at the 2016 AIC Annual Forum which will be held in Mr. Rietman’s home town of San Diego, CA. Joe has been a member of the AIC for over 17 years and a Certified Professional Constructor for 5 years.

Vice-President Gregory Carender, CPC of PricewaterhouseCoopers of Atlanta, GA
Secretary David Dominguez, CPC, Project Manager with Ryan Companies in Des Moines, IA
Treasurer Bradley Monson, CPC, Capital Construction Project Manager with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Denver, CO
Outgoing President Paul Mattingly remarked “Joe will provide great leadership to the AIC over the next year. He has a vision and passion for the AIC that will translate into great success for this organization.”
Founded in 1971, the American Institute of Constructors mission is to promote individual professionalism and excellence throughout the related fields of construction. AIC supports the individual Constructor throughout their careers by helping to develop the skills, knowledge, professionalism and ethics that further the standing of the construction industry. AIC Members participate in developing, and commit to, the highest standards of practice in managing the projects and relationships that contribute to the successful competition of the construction process. In addition to membership, the AIC certifies individuals through the Constructor Certification Commission. The Associate Constructor (AC) and Certified Professional Constructor (CPC) are internationally recognized certifications in the construction industry.
