AIC Education Foundation Announces Francis Dugan Scholarship

May 16, 2014--Mt. Royal, NJ -- The American Institute of Constructors Education Foundation announced today the creation of the Francis Dugan Scholarship. Announced to the AIC Membership during the AIC Annual Forum April 15, 2014 in Greenville, SC; the Dugan Scholarship was established to honor longtime AIC Member and AIC Education Foundation Founder Francis Dugan of Cincinnati, OH.
Announced by AIC Education Foundation Vice-Chair Tanya Matthews, FAIC, DBIA with Fran Dugan in attendance at the 2014 AIC Awards Dinner, the Dugan Scholarship will be a yearly award of $2,000 for a Construction Management Student within an Accredited Program. “This is a wonderful opportunity to honor a man who has spent over 40 years of his life in service to the AIC and the AIC Education Foundation. It was an honor being able to make this announcement with Fran in attendance this year.” Said Tanya Matthews, FAIC, DBIA
The Scholarship Application is now available on the AIC Education Foundation Webiste at http://www.aic-ef.org. Applications must be submitted between June 1 and August 31 in order to be considered. To be considered an individual must be enrolled in an accredited Construction Management program and hold at least a 3.0 GPA. Incoming Freshman and individuals with less than 12 months of coursework prior to graduation will not be considered.
