Roger W. Liska, EdD, FAIC, CPC, FCIOB, FRICS, PE Awarded AIC Lifetime Achievement Award

Alexandria, VA – October 31, 2011 – The American Institute of Constructors recently awarded Mr. Roger Liska of Clemson University with the AIC Lifetime Achievement award. In addition Mr. Liska was given a Lifetime Membership within the AIC. The AIC presented the award at its recent Mid-Year Meeting on October 13, 2011.
Mr. Liska was recognized for his extensive service to the American Institute of Constructors and the Constructor Certification Commission. Mr. Liska has been a member of the AIC for over 38 years and was one of the first individuals to be named as a Certified Professional Constructor (CPC). During his time with the AIC he has served as both the President of the AIC and Chairman of the CCC. Currently, he serves as the Secretary of the CCC while also spearheading the AIC’s efforts in earning its AC and CPC Constructor Certification ANSI Accreditation.
Mr. Liska started his 28th year in the department this fall semester. He continues to serve as Director of the Center for the Improvement of Construction Management and Processes and coordinates the master degree and portfolio requirement.
About the American Institute of Constructors AIC is the organization that seeks to give Constructors the professional status they deserve. The Institute is the constructor's counterpart of professional organizations found in architecture, engineering, law and other fields. As such, the Institute serves as the national qualifying body of professional constructor. AIC membership identifies the individual as a true professional.
