Registration for the Fall 2015 Examination is Closed.
Associate Constructor (Level 1) is intended for constructors entering the construction field and exam questions will be primarily based upon education knowledge. The AC certification is a way to prove your commitment to the profession, and to get an early edge in your career as a constructor.
To qualify for the AC exam you must have 4 years of qualifying experience and/or education or a combination of the two. Individuals may also qualify if they are within 12 months of graduation of an accredited 4 year construction program.
AC Exam Format: The AC exam is a 300 paper/pencil exam. All questions are multiple-choice, objective questions with the exception of a short writing assignment. The examination is given during the course of 1 day, a 4 hour morning session and a 4 hour afternoon session. Results are available within 1 month of completion.
