The goal of the AIC Professional Constructor Partnership Program is to join together with key stakeholders within the construction industry with the simple goal of improving the skills and knowledge of the individual practitioner—the Constructor.  AIC is seeking organizations who share our vision of an increased level of individual professionalism and practitioner ethics, thereby improving the overall professional image of the industry.  

This goal will be accomplished through continued training and professional development AND the universal recognition of the Constructor as a truly professional manager of the construction process.  The Level 1 (AC) and the Level 2 (CPC) exams are the benchmarks of excellence and benefit all parties involved. 

• The individual gains an industry recognized professional qualification of their construction management skills and knowledge.
• The employer receives an independent assessment of an employee’s skills and knowledge, based on a national standard of at risk construction management.
• The owner is assured that their contractor’s personnel are qualified, professional, and accomplished managers.

While certification and recognition of the professionalism required to manage complex construction projects have gained acceptance, there is still much to accomplish.  Through participation in the AIC Professional Constructor Partnership Program, like-minded companies and friends can help AIC promote the benefits of certification to practitioners, construction companies and public and private sector users of construction services.
